Leading Change

Change is a part of organizational life.  It is constant and continuous.  A commitment to quality and the continuous process of improvement means change.

The amount of change in organizations has grown tremendously over the past two decades, and the rate of change will only accelerate in the next few decades. No wonder managing change is foremost on the minds of leaders today!

Competent management is required to keep change efforts on track for only leadership can motivate the actions needed to alter behavior in any significant way. Only leadership can get change to stick, by anchoring it in the very culture of the organization.

Some people seem to thrive on change and use it as a positive, driving force in their lives.  What's the secret?  Researchers have concluded that top performers use similar strategies to deal with change.  In order for an organization to effectively manage change, they need to understand the natural forces of resistance and have a plan to reduce these forces and lead their organizations to optimal performance.

Leading Change will look at why change efforts fail in organization and build confidence in the skills and practices that will keep your clinic successful now and into the future.
