Welcome to TRIIUM Group Purchasing, a subsidiary of Minnesota Healthcare Network, LLC – a care system of independent practice providers throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. TRIIUM Group Purchasing was formed to support not only the independent physician practice, but other small- to medium-sized businesses.
TRIIUM Group Purchasing does the due diligence of finding reputable vendors and suppliers to ensure your satisfaction and provide you with the purchasing power of a group of businesses to obtain discounts based on the collective buying power of all TRIIUM members.
A group purchasing organization (GPO) is an entity created to leverage the purchasing power of a group of businesses or organizations to obtain discounts from suppliers on the collective buying power of the GPO members. The GPO negotiates the best possible prices for each of it’s members with manufacturers, suppliers and service providers under “group contracts.” In a GPO, suppliers treat all members as a part of a single entity and offer contract pricing and other benefits based on the total volume of the GPO. This increased volume allows the suppliers to offer better pricing and customer service than they could to the individual entities.
The TRIIUM GPO does not charge a membership fee to join. The GPO is supported by administrative fees paid by contracted suppliers.
GPO Members are not charged a fee. For purchases made through the GPO agreements, the supplies provide the GPO an administrative fee that finances the organization. These fees are disclosed to members in annual reports.
Any organization is eligible for membership in TRIIUM, there is not a fee. Membership is easy, just complete the inquiry form and a TRIIUM representative will contact you to answer your questions and walk you through the membership process.
When a GPO member chooses to use a GPO contracted supplier, the process is very similar to the usual buying process. The order is still placed directly with the supplier, the supplier still delivers and bills member directly utilizing the discounted pricing. The GPO is an advocate, with the collective purchasing power, that can assist the member if there are service issues.
TRIIUM has no restrictions or minimum purchase requirements. TRIIUM membership also qualifies members for membership in the Vizient/Provista national GPO through the TRIIUM agreement to expand your access to products and services.
